 Welcome to Cosmos Gakuin!

Here in Los Angeles, children from diverse family backgrounds come together at Cosmos Gakuin, where they explore their roots and nurture their identities through childcare and education. We firmly believe that these resilient and empowered children, with a deep interest in Japan’s role in the world, will grow into the leaders of tomorrow. Their desire to continue learning Japanese will undoubtedly serve as a significant source of strength and support throughout their lives.

As we look to the future, we envision these children soaring freely across the world, becoming bridges between Japan and the United States. Together, they will move forward hand in hand, paving the way to a brighter future. United as a team, our teaching staff remains fully committed to creating a safe, joyful, and enriching educational environment to support this vision.

As a Japanese supplementary school, Cosmos Gakuin is dedicated to partnering with parents and the local community to fulfill our mission of nurturing the radiant smiles of these bright, shining children.

About Cosmos Gakuin

Cosmos Gakuin is a Japanese supplementary school located in the Los Angeles area, offering students the opportunity to study the Japanese curriculum in Japanese.

We strive to create lessons that enable our students to grow into future "global citizens." To achieve this, we offer a cohesive curriculum spanning from early childhood education to high school, with a strong foundation in the Japanese language.

Our program nurtures the resilient spirit and life skills needed to serve as bridges between Japan and the United States. Alongside this, students also learn about the beauty of Japan through moral education rooted in Japanese values, as well as music, arts, and seasonal traditions.
